How We Can Help

Here At Complete Motion Therapy, we pride ourselves on offering a comprehensive suite of services aimed at optimizing your recovery and enhancing your overall well-being. Our highly skilled team of therapists specializes in a diverse range of techniques, tailored to meet your unique needs and goals.

Manual Therapy

Skilled techniques to the body's soft tissues, joints, and muscles to reduce pain, improve mobility, and increase blood flow. Treatments include soft tissue massage, myofascial release, joint mobilization and manipulation, and cupping techniques.

Balance Training

Dynamic exercises designed to improve core strength and reactive muscles. Treatments use balance pads, Biosway machine, and other dynamic activities to improve balance and decrease the risk of falls that may lead to injury.

Gait Training

Tailored to individual needs, it involves exercises and techniques aimed at improving stride, balance, and overall walking or running function. We can utilize our lite gate machine, which is a supportive harness worn by the patient, which is connected to an overhead support system. This support allows individuals to practice walking in a controlled environment while reducing the risk of falls.

Therapeutic Exercise

Physical strengthening and stretching exercises designed to improve and restore functional abilities, mobility, and overall well-being. Treatments include strength training, flexibility exercises, and endurance training.

Mechanical Traction

Using a specialized table to gently distract areas of the spine. This controlled traction helps create space between vertebrae, relieving pressure on nerves and promoting proper spinal alignment. Mechanical traction is commonly utilized in the treatment of conditions such as herniated discs, degenerative disc disease, and spinal nerve compression.

Electrical Stimulation

Utilizes electrical currents to stimulate nerves, muscles, or other tissues. This non-invasive and painless procedure is conducted using a device that delivers controlled electrical impulses through electrodes placed on or near the treatment area. Targets specific muscles or nerves to alleviate pain, reduce muscle spasms, enhance circulation, and promote muscle strength.

Aquatic Therapy

Reduces the impact of gravity on the body, making movements easier and less stressful on joints. This makes aquatic therapy particularly beneficial for individuals with conditions such as arthritis, joint pain, or those recovering from surgery or injuries. The natural resistance of water provides a gentle yet effective way to strengthen muscles and improve overall flexibility. Located at Complete Motion Therapy – Riverview Fargo Location.

Dry Needling

Dry needling involves inserting a thin, small gauge acupuncture needle in a muscle, tendon, or around nerves in order to release shortened bands of muscles and decreased trigger point activity. This can help resolve pain and muscle tension and can promote healing. Dry needling is not acupuncture; that is, it does not have the purpose of altering the flow of energy ("Qi") along traditional Chinese meridians for the treatment of diseases. Dry needling can be effective for the treatment of pain and dysfunction in musculoskeletal conditions such as but not limited to neck pain/headaches, shoulder impingement, tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, headaches knee pain, shin splints, or low back pain.

Vertigo/Insight Pro + Infrared Video Goggles

Dizziness has many causes and if appropriate can be treated by a physical therapist. At Complete Motion Therapy, we utilize Insight Pro+ Infrared Video Goggles to allow the clinician to visualize and record eye movements with a camera to help identify the pathology to develop a better treatment plan.

Parkinsons Treatment

PWR! Moves Certified- Parkinson Wellness Recovery

At Complete Motion Therapy we have therapists with advanced training in Parkinson's Disease treatment.

LSVT BIG

Repetitive and intensive exercises that focus on enhancing functional movements, balance, and overall mobility for patients with Parkinson’s Disease.

Post Surgical

Post-surgical physical therapy aims to optimize healing, restore functionality, and enhance overall well-being following joint replacement, orthopedic procedures, spinal surgery, or other surgical interventions.

Blood Flow Restriction (BFR)

Technique utilizes inflatable cuffs or bands placed around the proximal part of the arms or legs to partially restrict blood flow while allowing muscle contraction. This creates a hypoxic (low-oxygen) environment in the muscles being exercised, mimicking the effects of high-intensity resistance training. This accelerates muscle rehabilitation, promotes muscle growth, and enhances overall functional outcomes.
